The challenge
Fixinc, A boutique corporate resilience consultancy, set out to build the world’s first resilience directory - ResilienceWEB. The goal? build an easy to navigate, highly customisable ecosystem to connect businesses with the world’s best resilience vendors. Having alreadly established a strong partnership after woking together on several projects previously, Fixinc owner, Ollie, reached out to What IF Web to bring his visions to life.
What we did
- Conducted in-depth research to identify user personas and journeys for both businesses and end-users, diving deep into their needs and bevaviours.
- Analysed similar existing platforms to help identify & advise the best approach and technology stack.
- Crafted a clean modern web app design, inspired by platforms like Airbnb & Sortlist. Our focus was on creating a functional, inviting, and elevated user experience for both vendors and end users.
- Developed the application with a trusted stack of Webflow, Wized, Airtable, & Xano. The designs were brought to life with sleek animations and incorporated functional features like sign up, profiles, & filtering. We also Integrated Airtable as the 'source of truth,' enabling Fixinc's team to effortlessly manage and update data within a system they were already comfortable using.
- Built the results pages with intricate filters to help users narrow down the perfect vendor for their business. To ensure a smoother browsing experience, we also implemented a multi-page filter, allowing filters applied on one page to carry through to subsequent pages.
- Designed & developed extensive vendor profile pages complete with customisable sections such as blogs, partner network, team, and FAQs, with specific features accessible to vendors based on their membership tier.
- Built a custom onboarding process synced to Xano & Airtable to provide a simple signup that is both intuitive for end users and easy for the Fixinc team to manage
- With SEO as a high priority, we built multiple “service + location” directory pages to improve search visibility. To also improve SEO, we built a custom integration syncing the Airtable database with Webflow that allows all directory pages to be hosted in the Webflow CMS, making them easily crawlable and rankable on Google Search.
